The Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities, with the approval of the Board of Mahoning County Commissioners, will auction motor vehicles that are not needed for public use or are obsolete or unfit for the use for which they were acquired, via an internet auction. The Board has contracted with GovPlanet to conduct said internet auction on its behalf. The Board makes no warranty, expressed or implied, as to quantity, kind, character, quality, weight, size or description of any of the property or its fitness for any use or purpose. Items are sold as is, where is.
Said internet auction will be conducted for ten (10) days, from Monday, June 17th, 2019 through Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 through the GovPlanet website. Information regarding times for inspection can be found at the GovPlanet site at https://www.govplanet.com/jsp/s/search.ips?mp=1161.
TERMS: Payment to be made upon terms posted at the GovPlanet site. GovPlanet will collect and retain a 7.5% buyer’s transaction fee on all items sold. Titles to vehicles will be transferred at time of pick-up of the vehicles. All vehicles will be picked up from the offices of the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 4791 Woodridge Drive, Austintown, Ohio 44515 within five (5) working days of the close of the auction. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to pick up, load and transport. No county equipment or manpower can be used.
