Outpatient Treatment Services

  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): An intensive treatment program with sessions held 3 days per week, 3 hours per day for approximately 8 weeks. IOP is comprised of individual and group counseling, case management, and continuing care/aftercare.
  • Low-Intensity Outpatient Treatment: An outpatient program delivered at a lower intensity than IOP. The program focuses on educating clients in the area of AOD addiction and recovery.
  • Opioid Agonist Program: Outpatient treatment for opiate addiction utilizing Opiate Agonist (methadone). Program includes IOP, individual counseling, and case management.

Specialized Treatment Services

  • Woman’s Choice: Gender-specific treatment services for women. Program seeks to address barriers to treatment such as childcare, transportation, housing, etc.
  • Problem Gambling Treatment: Specialized treatment services designed to help adults overcome the effects of problem gambling. Informational/ educational presentations available to the community.
  • S.A.M.I.( Substance Abusing/ Mentally Ill): Specialized treatment services for the dually-diagnosed.
  • N.O.R.C.A.T.(Northeast Ohio Regional Center for Adolescent Treatment): Residential chemical dependency treatment services for adolescent males ages 12-18 for a minimum of 90 days. On-site educational services.
  • Adolescent Low-Intensity Treatment: Low-intensity outpatient treatment program for youth ages 12-18. The program provides education and awareness for young people at high risk for becoming dependent on drugs and/or alcohol.

Additional AOD Services

  • Prevention Partners Plus: Lifespan violence, alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention services to local communities, schools and faith-based organizations. A joint venture of Meridian Services, Inc. and the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic.
  • HIV/AIDS Prevention: Outreach, education, referral and testing for persons at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS, specifically intravenous drug users.
