Real Estate

Board of Revision - BOR appeals for Tax Year 2012 must be filed and received on or before Monday, April 1, 2013 by 4:30PM in the Mahoning County Auditor's Office located in the Mahoning County Courthouse, 120 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44503.

The Value Appeal forms may be obtained by calling the Auditor's Office at 330-740-2010 or in person at the Mahoning County Auditor's Office, 120 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio between 8:00a.m. and 4:30p.m. Monday through Friday.

Homestead Exemption - applications must be filed after the first Monday in January and on or before the first Monday in June.

2 ½ % Owner / Occupied Rollback – applications must be filed after the first Monday in January and on or before the first Monday in June.

Current Agricultural Usage Valuation (CAUV) - applications must be filed after the first Monday in January and prior to the first Monday in March of the year for which the agricultural use value is sought.

Agricultural District – applications may be filed at any time for placement of land in an agricultural district for a five year period.

Licensing

Dog and Kennel Licenses-must be renewed annually between December 1st and February 28th.  A new license may be purchased at any time.

Cigarette Licenses -  must be renewed annually before the fourth Monday in May
