MOTTO: “Taking Government to the People”
The Commissioners feel strongly that it is important that every citizen in the county feels like they are an active part in the county government, so they are taking government to the people in a number of ways, here are only a couple:
1. Having Board of Commissioner’s meetings in different locations, with plans to have meetings in every township, city, and village in the county.
2. Creating a Coalition of Ethnic Communities to hear the concerns and specific needs that these communities encounter. The plan is that the Coalition of Ethnic Communities can meet with the commissioners bimonthly.
