Mission Statement:
“The Mission of the Human Resource Department is to ensure equality, fairness and diversity in employment and procurement opportunities are realized for all citizens and employees of Mahoning County.”
What We Do:
The Human Resources Department, within the Board of Mahoning County Commissioners, provides services and information to county employees and helps county agencies conduct their personnel functions.
- Maintain personnel records
- Negotiate union contracts
- Manage County employee benefit and liability programs

Revenue Source:
The Human Resources Department is fully funded by the General Fund.
