Referrals to Hope House

Families may be referred to Hope House by the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Courts, Mahoning County Children Services, Attorneys or a referring agency. When the parties contact Hope House, the staff will schedule an orientation. The parties will learn what Hope House is all about, complete the required forms, take a tour, and work out a mutually beneficial visitation schedule for all parties involved. Visits are calculated on a sliding fee scale and exchanges are a set fee per exchange. An exchange equals one drop-off and one pick-up.

Then, the hours of Hope House vary to accommodate the family's needs and the availability of staff. The general hours of Hope House are:

Monday 9:00 am - 5:00pm
Tuesday 9:00am - 6:30pm
Wednesday 9:00am - 8:30pm
Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Friday 9:00am - 6:30pm
Saturday CLOSED
Sunday Open for exchanges

Hope House is a secure facility with buzzer entry. There is a Sheriff's Deputy on the premises during exchanges and visits. The main concern is the safety and comfort of all who enter.
