Projects and Plans

Current Projects: 

1.  Relocating the basement operations of the Court to third floor of the Courthouse so as to improve the Court's efficiency, interoffice communication and delivery of services to the public.

2.  Renovating the Magistrate courtrooms so as to manifest greater respect for the hearings conducted therein.

Planned Projects:  

1.  Expanding the Court’s Mediation Program which has proven so effective in resolving parenting disputes that come before the Court.

2.  Adding additional staff to the Court’s Family Services Department to better serve the needs of children and families going through the divorce and post-divorce process.

Short Term and Long Term Plans:  

Continuing to support and encourage the expansion of the Pro-Bono Divorce and Custody Clinics provided by Northeast Ohio Legal Services which provides improved access to the Court for low income litigants.
