Youth Educational Programs and Activities
We have youth programs for everyone from pre-K through high school and college students. Many of these programs and activities are also perfect for scout groups, campfire groups, church youth groups, home-schooled children and others. We're very flexible and can tailor our program to your group's specific needs.
To learn more about any of these programs, or to schedule a Green Team appearance at your school or organization, please call the Green Team Education Department at

School administrators are encouraged to speak with The Green Team about having a waste assessment performed at their school. Many materials, most notably paper, that are now discarded in the trash can be recycled. The Green Team can place a special 4-cubic-yard dumpster on school property to accept these recyclables. Currently, there are over seventy-three schools enrolled in this program.

We also hold teachers' workshops and offer suggestions for curriculum activities and help with lesson plans.
