Method of Receiving Payments
Ohio offers two methods for receiving support payments: Direct Deposit and the Ohio e-QuickPay® Debit MasterCard®. Both methods provide you with a Faster, Simpler, Safer way to receive your support payments:
- No check cashing fees
- No worries about stolen checks
- No waiting by the mailbox
Direct Deposit: If you enroll in the direct deposit option, your child support payments will be directly deposited to your account at your financial institution. Payments are deposited automatically after the state receives and posts a payment to your case. Please check with your financial institution to verify the receipt of the funds.
Ohio e-QuickPay® Debit MasterCard®: This option provides you with a debit card to receive and use your support payments. Support payments are credited to the e-QuickPay® card automatically after the state receives and posts a payment to your case. You do not need a bank account to enroll in this option. The card can be used at any place that accepts MasterCard® debit cards or Maestro®.
Cash withdrawals from your card can be made at any ATM or bank teller window displaying the MasterCard®, Maestro®, or Cirrus® brand marks. Cardholders can access their available balance and transaction history securely at www.e-quickpay.com. All transaction information is displayed immediately in date and time order.
Cardholders may also access balance and transaction information by calling Ohio e-QuickPay® Customer Support at 1-800-503-1283.
To enroll in either the direct deposit or the e-QuickPay® option, complete the Enrollment/Authorization Form, attach your voided check or deposit slip if you are choosing direct deposit, seal it and drop it in the mail. You may obtain the form by contacting the CSEA or call 1-888-965-2676. You may also view the form at http://jfs.ohio.gov/Ocs/pdf/DirectDeposit_Enrollmentform.pdf
