Fraud/Overpayment Recovery

The Fraud/Overpayment Recovery Unit provides investigation of fraud and criminal corruption involving public assistance programs.  This unit develops and implements strategies toward fraud detection.   The Fraud/Overpayment Recovery Unit encourages a cooperative effort.  All reports and referrals remain confidential.  To report suspected fraud please call 330-740-2600 extension 8810 or email HOELZM@odjfs.state.oh.us. 

The Early Fraud Detection and Prevention Program (EDP) is a program designed to prevent overpayments and public assistance fraud.
