Retirement
The Adult Services Retirement Program is located at Leonard Kirtz School and is geared to serve the individual needs of older adults with developmental disabilities.
The Retirement Program was created because demand for services to older adults with developmental disabilities consistently increased over the last several years.
This day program emphasizes recreation, arts, leisure activities, and socialization for adults who are 55 and older. The seniors may also participate in various activities available within the school-age departments, such as homemaking, industrial technology, physical education, and swimming.
All services are based on an individual plan developed by an interdisciplinary team, in accordance with the individual’s choices, desires, and preferences.
Further information about the Adult Services Retirement Program may be obtained by contacting the Adult Services Office at (330) 797-2904.
