New Elevated Water Tower, Mahoning Avenue
Water and Sewer Extension Projects
- includes construction of an elevated water storage tank in North Jackson.
Construction is 100 % complete.
Water and Sewer permits are being issued daily.

Water Improvements- Upgrades to the Webb Road Pump Station are complete, improving the reliabilty of the system. Installation of new waterlines beginning at the intersection of Mahoning Ave and Newton Falls Road and extending west along Mahoning Avenue approximately 3.5 miles to Grandview Avenue. Waterlines have been extended along Northeast River Road and Southeast River Road. Total project cost $ 6.2 Million.
Milton Sewer Improvements - Sanitary sewer project included the extensions along the west side of the Lake to include the streets of Lillian, Forest and Alois. Sanitary Sewers were constructed along Southeast River Road to Ellsworth Road. Total sewer project cost is $ 4.5 Million.
Project Funding - Funding for the water and sanitary sewer projects was provided in part by a Grant from the federal EPA, along with Grants, and Loans from USDA, OPWC and Mahoning County. The Project was completed in late 2006.
