We have agreements to provide Waste Water Treatment for the City of Canfield and portions of Mineral Ridge in Trumbull County.
The Mahoning County Sanitary Engineering Department, under the direction of the County Commissioners also provides Drinking Water to over 1,500 customers in parts of North Jackson, Lake Milton, and Craig Beach. The source of our water is the Meander Reservoir supplied to us by agreement with the City Of Youngstown.
Revenue Sources:
The Sanitary Engineering Dept is fully funded by Permit and User Fees. MCSE customers on public or private water systems pay a user charge, which is based on the amount of water you use at your home or business in a billing period.
Each year, MCSE's rate structure sets a rate per 1,000 gallons of water used.
In 2013 the Sanitary Sewer rate per 1000 gallons of water used is $6.60.
