What We Do:

The Mahoning County Board of Elections establishes and maintains election precincts throughout the County and provides places for registration and voting locations for the precincts. The Board of Election is responsible for the purchase of equipment for elections, the supplies required, and the employment of personnel to serve as election officials at the precincts where elections are held. Under the guidance of the Secretary of State and by the Constitution of the United States, the Ohio Constitution, the Ohio Revised Code, and the various charters of cities, townships, and villages, the Board of Election issues rules and regulations consistent with the law.
