Projects and Plans
Current Projects:
Lead Abatement and Healthy Homes Work, Education, Training, and Outreach.
Planned Projects:
Our projects are on-going for the duration of our grant. We continue applying for grants each time we are up for funding. Our current grant(s) run through 2010.
Short Term and Long Term Plans:
Continuing to train and recruit competent contractors and workers, increase screening of children, and educating the Community regarding lead-poisoning and environmental issues affecting children.
New Services:
Yes…We will begin environmental testing of units in the near future, and will be working with the Mahoning County Laboratory for anaylsis of the environmental sampling that will be taking place on some of the local units.
