Marcie Patzak-Vendetti


Marcie Patzak-Vendetti, Esq. is the Director of Court Mediation and is an appointed Magistrate for the court. Marcie earned a BA from Youngstown State University, a Juris Doctor from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, a Master of Business Administration (AACSB) from Youngstown State University, and a Master of Public Administration (NASPAA) from Kent State University. Marcie has worked with The Supreme Court of Ohio, Dispute Resolution Section in areas important to local courts and dispute resolution including, developing program models, local rule guides, and toolkits for mediation and parenting coordination, education and training of dispute resolution professionals, statutes, rules, and standards, and processes and procedures governing mediation.  Marcie was appointed to the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Advisory Committee on Dispute Resolution. In April 2012, Marcie was appointed to The Supreme Court of Ohio’s Commission on Dispute Resolution and was re-appointed to The Supreme Court of Ohio’s Commission on Dispute Resolution in 2015. Marcie is a member of the Ohio Association of Magistrates. Marcie is a presenter, trainer, and facilitator of mediation and ADR related trainings and has assisted in the development of mediation and ADR related program models and materials. Marcie has served as Vice-Chair of the Dispute Resolution Committee for the OSBA and has contributed to the OSBA’s Law You Can Use and the OSBA’s Legal Basics for Small Business publications. Additionally, Marcie has been adjunct faculty at Youngstown State University, Kaplan University, and ITT/ESI. Previously, Marcie served as an Intake Hearing Officer with the court from 2001-2006.
