Electronic recycling with the Green Team has completed for the season. We’ll be back in the spring with an expanded program. Additional recycling opportunities are still available at Best Buy”.
Electronic Waste (E-Scrap)
E-Scrap can be recycled, but not in your curbside recycling cart or bin. Most electronics contain valuable metals that can be recovered. Items that can be recycled include desktops, towers, laptops, monitors, keyboards and peripherals, printers, modems, tablets, e-readers, telecom devices, networking equipment, cables, cell phones, ear buds and video game systems.
Appliance Waste
Most appliances can be recycled, including large appliances like refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers and stoves. As a rule of thumb, if it is primarily made of metal, we will accept it at these collection events. The Green Team will handle the reclamation of Freon for free.
Registration
Registration is required for labor planning and to provide a better overall experience. Please select the calendar link above and select a date and time that is convenient for you. Only available times and dates will be selectable. Vehicles arriving without registering will not be serviced.
Restrictions
This program is available only to Mahoning County households. Businesses and organizations will not be serviced.
Costs
There will be a $20 fee for all screens (LCD/LED/CRT). All other electronics and appliances are accepted for free.
Procedure
Our new collection facility is located at 825 Bev Road, Boardman, OH 44512. Drive-in through the Bev Road entrance. We will remove the materials from your vehicle. Drive-out via the South Avenue exit.
