Public Counter and title search areas are open regular hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but only taking recordings until 3:30 p.m.  The office is closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.  Please exercise social distancing and proximities when possible and please utilize sanitation wipes provided.  



  • Documents will only be recorded on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • All documents that are dropped off must include checks and return instructions.
  • Always include a contact name and phone number.
  • Documents will be recorded the same day by the Recorder's Office if the document is dropped off by 3:00 p.m.
  • Any document dropped off after 3:00 p.m. can be picked up the next Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
  • For questions, please contact Noralynn  Palermo (330)740-2345.  If Noralynn does not answer, please leave a message and she will return your call as soon as possible.
  • If documents are not prepared properly and payment is not included, the document will not be processed.
  • This schedule is subject to change.

As of Monday March 30th,the Recorders Office is Temporarily Suspending the Issuance of Veterans Document ID Cards. 

Public Access
No legal advice or opinions will be given by the Recorder's Staff either in person or by telephone. Computers are available in the Recorders Office for public access.

Public Records Searches

Employees of the Recorder's Office cannot search records. If you know the recording information, you may request a copy from our office. Otherwise, you may come into the office and access one of our thirteen (13) public computers.
