Due to the recent events  with COVID-19, I want to clarify that the Mahoning County Probate Court will remain open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  However, in an effort to protect the public as well as the court staff, the court is implementing some common sense measures to limit the number of people who need to appear at the court.  Please review the attached Judgment Entry which provides options to individuals to file documents electronically as well as attend certain hearings telephonically so that they do not need to personally appear at the court.  With these common sense options along with your understanding, normal court operations shall continue.  I thank you for your anticipated cooperation and should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the court.

NOTICE - NEW MARRIAGE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Due to the State of Emergency issued by Gov. DeWine and the recent “Stay at Home” order, starting Tuesday, March 24, 2020 the Mahoning County Probate Court will only issue marriage licenses via appointment only.  All couples needing a marriage license, will need to contact the court at (330) 740-2310 to schedule an appointment.  Appointments will be available Monday through Friday except recognized legal holidays.

Due to the recent health concerns, the Mahoning County Probate Court Help Desk will be closed at this time.  Once it has been deemed safe to resume normal operation of the Help Desk, we will notify you accordingly.
